This feature-length war documentary tells the true story of Slovaks and Czechs who fought in Indochina — either in the ranks of the French Foreign Legion or as soldiers in the US Army. After the Communist takeover of Czechoslovakia, these men fled abroad, determined to continue the fight against communism. They proved their courage and resilience in the brutal conditions of the jungle, where they faced not only an omnipresent enemy but also tropical diseases and extreme hardship. Yet their story remains largely untold. March or Die fills in forgotten chapters of history and reveals new, often surprising, perspectives on the Cold War era.
